Right to Repair

We have the right to repair everything we own. Being denied this right grants total control for manufacturers to decide when your device is still yours and when it should be taken away. Companies like to make our devices seem like unknown black boxes that only they can fix, but in reality they are intentionally restricting access to information and parts to make repair more difficult and encourage expensive new device purchases.

By taking back our right to repair, we are taking back the ownership of the devices we paid hundreds of dollars for, and pushing companies to provide a true reason to upgrade rather than just out of necessity.

Support more repairable products and make repair easier in the future by researching how repairable a device is before buying it by finding its repairability score on this website.
